So many kids deal with bullying on a daily basis. Whether they see it in the playground or experience it themselves, it has a big impact on mental health and self esteem.

Victoria University reports that 27% of kids face to face bullying and a further 10% face cyber bullying. We need to wonder whether this fully accounts for everyone experiencing this harassment, as many kids don’t share what is going on for them and walk through it alone.

This amount of bullying really shows the predominance of bad behaviour.

Let’s be clear about what bullying is: it’s persistent intentional behaviour that occurs to cause hurt, fear or distress for the person receiving it.

This behaviour comes in different forms from verbal abusing, cyberbullying, rumour creation are a few examples.
